I have taken on the challenge of servant leader, in training.  Considering of whom I am in the employ, that should be an easy task.  Afterall, it is widely accepted knowledge that our federal government is the most forward thinking, progressive and enlightened corporation in the world.  Errr.  OK, after you stop laughing, look at it from my point of view: I have a big job to do.  I might as well go into it with good humor.

Born the son of Appalachian mountain folk who are decendents of pioneers arriving in the Americas even prior to those of the Great Migration, I soon realized the grit and resourcefulness of Appalachian people, something I’m very proud of.

 

It is that same grit and determination that has led me to tackle Gonzaga's MA in Organizational Leadership.  I did not choose Gonzaga because of the tuition costs or a promise of "crip courses" on the way to an easy MA.  Quite to the contrary.  Gonzaga's coursework has been challenging and constantly life changing.
